How to Enter the 2006 "Balde" Eagle Festival

This festival honors the bald eagles who gather here during the
winter months, flocking into Northrup Canyon to roost.

Poets, gather your thoughts on the bald eagles, our national emblem.

They range throughout the United States, they are honored by the
Native Americans and featured by photographers and artists.

Categories are: Adult, High School and Middle School.

There will be First, Second and Third prizes in each category.

All you need to do is mail or e-mail us your poem
honoring our National Bird the Bald Eagle.

Send entries to: Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce,
P.O. Box 760, Grand Coulee, Wash. 99133

Or Drop them by the Chamber Office at 306 Midway Ave
in Grand Coulee.

Entry Deadline: February 13th, 2006
 

RULES :

Please limit your poem to 30 lines and have it typed.

Place name and address and school for students on the back side
of the poem, or on a separate sheet of paper with the poem's title.

Put Eagle Poetry Contest on your envelope.

Poems submitted must be original, not Copyrighted.

  • You may submit up to 3 poems for this Year's contest.

    We are not responsible for lost poems.

    The Grand Coulee Dam Chamber of  Commerce
    reserves the right to use any and All Submissions
    for Area Promotions in the Future.

    Final results/prizes will be posted by  Feb 28th, 2006
