How to Enter the 2008 "Balde" Eagle Festival
Poetry - Short Essay Contest
Sponsored by "Them Dam Writers"
and the Grand Coulee Chamber of Commerce
This festival honors the bald eagles who gather here during
the
winter months, flocking into Northrup Canyon to roost.
Poets, gather your thoughts on the bald eagles, our national emblem.
They range throughout the United States, they are honored by
the
Native Americans and featured by photographers and artists.
Categories are: Adults and Students
There will be First, Second and Third prizes in each category.
First ($35), Second($25) and Third ($15) cash prizes in each category.
All you need to do is mail or e-mail us your poem
honoring our National Bird the Bald Eagle.

Or Drop them by the Chamber Office at 306 Midway Ave
in Grand Coulee.

Entry Deadline: February 9th, 2007
RULES :
Please limit your poem to One Page, double spaced,
and have it
typed or CLEARLY printed
Place name and address and school for students on the back side
of the poem,
with the poem's title.
Put Eagle Poetry Contest on your envelope.
Poems submitted must be original, not Copyrighted.
- We are not responsible for lost poems.
The Grand Coulee Dam Chamber of Commerce
reserves the right to use any and All Submissions
for Area Promotions in the Future.
Final results/prizes will be posted by Feb 28th, 2006
